Bloody Pirates!
Looking through my back collection of CD’s, I came across a locked box – locked with a small padlock. Intrigued, I tried to force the lock, but it was too strong for me. I spent an hour or so looking for a bunch of keys we had given Asha ages ago. In the end I had to ask her what she’d done with them.
Now with keys in hand I go through every single on of them. Nada. None open the lock. I ask wifey if she has the key. She doesn’t, but knows there are some keys on a shelf. Now with new keys I try again. Aha! The box opens. Inside is an unremarkable disk Sid Meyers Pirates. I insert disk. It installs. I start playing. ARGH!
ARGH! ARG…. you get the message. At 3am most mornings I am still here saying, I’ll just attack one more Spanish Galleon. Just one more.
Then it comes flooding back. The months of rehab and treatment I had undergone to beat this game. The lost days. ARGH! Addicted.
